bMonitor for Windows runs as a Windows service to monitor the health of servers you have configured. When bMonitor detects a server that
is not responding it will send alerts to addresses you have configured. The alerts can be emails or text messages.
bMonitor for Windows comes in 3 versions: Lite, Standard, and Enterprise. The Lite version will only allow 1 server to be configured, and will only ping a server once every 20 minutes. An alert will not be sent until 3 consecutive failures (1 hour) have occurred. The Standard version is fully configurable and allows Ping monitoring, Port monitoring, and Web page monitoring for up to 5 monitors. Also, it is possible to purchase additional licenses for additional monitors and additional monitor types. Available monitor types include Database, Ftp, Ftps (Explicit), Ftps (Implicit), Http, Https, Imap, Ping, Pop, Port, and Smtp. The Enterprise version comes with all available monitor types for up to 25 monitors. A license for additional monitors can also be purchased. bMonitor for Windows has built in logging. All errors and events are written to a text file in the LogFiles foder located in the application folder. A new log file is started everyday and is named bMonitorLog_mm_dd_yyyy.txt. |

bMonitor for Android comes in Standard version only. Available monitor types include Http, Ping, and Port. The Standard version is fully configurable and allows Ping monitoring, Port monitoring, and Web page monitoring for unlimited monitors. Of course, as you know, unlimited monitors with respect to mobile devices is a rather dubious term. If you have more than 10 or so monitors configured, you are certainly pushing the limits of your device. Not to mention, you would probably have to keep it plugged in most of the time because your battery will be consumed by all the network overhead. bMonitor for Android has built in logging.
